Getting Outlook buttons in the taskbar that I can't close.

I'm running Vista and Outlook 2007. Occasionally I end up with buttons on the
taskbar (usually Outlook Messages or Appointments) that I can neither
minimize nor close. In most cases these are Outlook objects that I have had
open, and then closed, but I end up with these buttons in the taskbar anyway.
Closing Outlook resolves the problem. Any ideas anyone?

I'm having a similar issue, but I'm seeing additional taskbar buttons with
various names, currently "context menu" is showing on three of them. I can
click each of them and they select, but nothing comes up and I can't get a
menu when I right-click on them.

I'm running Office 2007 with Windows XP.

Any ideas?
