Hi,

I am a Mac user who sometimes needs to know a bit about
Microsoft products from the Windows perspective -- since I
freelance. Thus, I tried your following "counterpart":

It was not as user friendly as this Mac site because while
this site has a list on the left that easily leads to the
application to question, the Windows site has a long list
that I just can't comprehend. I therefore could not find
what item on the list represents MS Word!

Please offer some advice or recommend another MS Windows
Web site that includes a forum or "ask an expert" section.

See here under Which Newsgroup, and it will help you decide which WinWord
group you want and give you a link to a friendlier site, although a
newsreader is really the friendliest way of all...
