Getting rid of error message regarding BCM office addin?

Seth

Newly installed Office 2007 and updates including Service Pack. Everytime I
start Word I get an error message for BCM Office Addin: Office application
version does not match.
How do I get rid of this?

Thank you for your reply. I installed Office 2007 on a brand new laptop, with
no previous version of Office possible. So I presume this BCM office addin
was on the new Toshiba laptop somehow? Anyways, thanks I will endeavor to
find this addon and remove it.

BCM is part of Office. You need to run Office Setup and remove that
component.

I downloaded a trial version of Office Professional 2007. I only needed the
Small Business. I uninstalled the Professional version after installing the
Small Business suite. Now this same BCM error message comes up. Isn't BCM
Business Contact Manager? It is supposed to be included with the Outlook in
this suite. What should I do? I do want Business Contact Manager

Hi Suzanne,

Check in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel to see if you have the 2007 or 2003 Business Contact manager listed. The
2007 edition is still a separate install from the Office 2007 product and you may need to uninstall BCM, restart the PC then
reinstall it if you're switching Office 2007 product suites.

You may want to also followup in the Business Contact Manager discussion group using the link below.
