Getting shapes from Org.Chart to work in a block diagram

I need the functionality of "hide subordinates" and also "create
synchronized copy", available in Organization Chart shapes, in other
drawings, e.g. a block diagram. However, if I use the shape from the
Organization Chart stencil in a block diagram drawing, this functionality
appears as options on the Actions menu, but does not work.

Looking at the shape sheet, I can see that these actions run commands from
an application called OrgC11, but I am not able to locate it. Anyone knows
how to use code from OrgC11 in a drawing different from an organization
chart?

All of the functionality that you refer to is very specific to the
Organization Chart solution and will not work with other templates. There is
a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes that these functions depend upon
that is very specific to the Organization Chart model. The Organization
Chart shapes wrer not designed to be used in other drawing types.

Thanks a lot for your prompt answer. It's a pity that this functionality
cannot be used generally. Especially the "synchronized copy" thing
is extremely useful in summarizing and/or offering partial views of
things like complex business and process models. For the same purpose,
I would need to be able to attach comments to shapes that would sync
as well, so as to make them visible in these other views.

For the time being, this apparently trivial issue obliges me to use
software other than Visio for my modeling work.
