I had a previous post on a similar question and have narrowed down the
problem. How can I get shortcuts to folders to show up when I do a
"Save As"? Obviously, others are able to. I have been able to in the
past (before my Windows XP operating system was reinstalled). When I
"Save As" with Word (or any other data file), any shortcuts to folders
are invisible and therefore I cannot "jump" to folders deeper in my
directory structure. Polaris wrote to suggest that I put the file
containing the shortcuts I need to jump to on my desktop. That works,
but when saving, the shortcuts are not visible.
This is a useful time-saving practice and I would like help on how I
can make shortcuts to folders both visible and active when I perform a
"Save As". When I explore the folders I am able to jump directly to
the target directory, but when performing a "Save As", the shortcuts
to these folders are invisible. Please help. Thanks.
