getting specific data from access into excel

Ok i have an access database that has all the parts and their numbers and
their information. In excel i have a spreadsheet with some part numbers as
the bill of the materials. What im trying to do is fill out all the
information for the parts in the bill of materials by using the access
database. what would be the best way to do this and how?
