I want to create a new stencil that is quite like the UML Activity or
Statechart stencil. However, instead of the actions listed for the
Transition Properties, I want my own set of actions.
To what degree is this sort of customization handled by Visio directly,
and how much of this is some custom COM or other code that is invoked
when you double-click on a Transition?
(Is the entire "UML Transition Properties" dialog something custom, or
is it something that I could create myself without writing code?)
I'm having trouble figuring out what I need the Visio SDK for, and what
I can customize on my own. Basically, I'm having trouble bootstrapping
myself to figure out where to look or what features to look at. In
addition to specific answers to the above, general "getting started
creating powerful custom objects in visio" type resources would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
