"Getting Started" opens automatically

Hi,

Although the option "Startup Task Pane" is unchecked (=> View Tab), every
time I open Word 2003 the "Getting Started" pane also opens.

Even if I close the "Getting Started" pane, before closing Word, or if I
disable the "Task Pane" Toolbar (=> Customization), the pane "Getting
Started" opens again next time I open Word.

How can I fix it?
