Getting Started Tabs Office 2007 SP1

We are using a "slipstreamed" Office 2007 disc that includes the 2.0 Admin
tool as well as Servicve Pack 1. After we do our custom install and then
apply the Getting Started Tabs for Word, Excel and Powerpoint, the tabs do
not appear on the ribbon.

However if do the custom install from an orignal disc without SP1 the tabs
appear fine. I think there is a glitch how the slipstreamed disc works as
opposed to the original. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Hi Brett,

If I understand correctly you're installing/attaching the Add-in after Office has been deployed?


Do the addins show as active in the Options dialog for Addins
Office Button=>Word Options=>Add-ins (for example)

What are the settings for Add-Ins and trusted locations in the Trust Center in Options?
