I lecture biology using PowerPoint, and our textbook publisher is nice
enough to provide media for presentations - like jpegs of text
illustrations as well as animations.
The newest edition of our text provides animations mostly in .swf
format, but when I insert them directly - they don't play properly -
though they do partially. One work around is to have them play in
linked .html files through Safari.
Is there any way to make .swf files play properly in 2004?
Please don't tell me to downgrade my flash files to a lower version,
because I don't have any sort of converter for that (let alone the
Flash authoring App).
