Having trouble with OLE fields in Access. I want to be
able to insert an object into an OLE field (no problems
there) and then have a second field updated to contain the
filename (and path) of the linked info.
I have already tried the VBA group with no success, so
I'll try here.
I found some great code at MS
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;199066
But this gives me the link to Image content such as Gifs
and Icons. What if I want the document link info? This
does not seem to be easily located. There is a property
called the SourceDoc and you would think it would be
there, but it isn't unless I type it in manually which
sort of defeats the purpose really.
Where is the ACTUAL LINK INFORMATION STORED? How does
Access not What to Load and Where when you double click on
the Icon? That information must be somewhere.
I am getting seriously frustrated with this.
