How to create thumbnail for VSD file ? Though I am using
'visDocPreviewQuality' and 'visDocPreviewScope', I am unable to get the
preview in the explorer.

Save the file as a .wmf or .emf file. Load the file into your image
editing software and resize to your thumbnail size.

Paul,
I am developing a n application by using Visio 2003 activex control
and VB.net 2003. I am saving the drawing onto a .VSD file through the
application. I need the thumbnail of the file to be generated through my
application so that when I click on the file in explorer, a thumbnail preview
gets displayed. If I try the same thing with Visio, the thumbnail gets
displayed, where in my application I am unable to get that. On searching
VISIO SDK Help says that there are some options which enables that.
They are a) enabling VisSavePreviewMode.visSavePreviewDetailed1st
b) visDocPreviewQuality
c) visDocPreviewScope

Plz. Help.

I don't believe you can assign arbitrary thumbnails to documents. You can
copy the thumbnail of one document to another.

As in Visio we have, in File->Properties one can enable the 'Save Preview
Picture' , can I have the same thing enabled in the application I develop
using the activeX control ?
