Getting to access.gettingstarted

Ever since I started reading this newsgroup, I would
automatically be sent to this particular newsgroup. I
installed Windows SP 4 and (for other reasons) set I.E. to
its default settings, and now, with the same "favorites"
entry, I end up in "MSDN Newsgroups", and I have to
open "Office Solutions" then "Access" and then this
newsgroup. Does anyone know what I.E. settings might be
affecting this behavior?

I understand that this isn't "Access" specific, but it did
seem like this crowd might have a thought on the matter.

I don't know the answer to the Web interface to these newsgroups since I and
probably most regular respondents use a news-reader software (I use Outlook
Express) and connect directly to the news-server "msnews.microsoft.com" and
subscribe to only the newsgroups we like.

I find this way is much faster than the Web interface. In addition, the Web
interface seem to omit a numbers of newsgroups while the news-reader
software will pick up all newsgroups on the above news-server for you to
select.
