Getting VonageX-pro softphone to record with OneNote

Gang,
Just installed Vonage's X-pro softphone but when I try to
record with OneNote, I get error message saying OneNote
can't record. I've switched the audio inputs a few times,
any suggestions? Has anyone got these two programs to work
together?

Click:
Start - Run - SNDVOL32 - OK - OPTIONS - Properties - MIXER DEVICE:

There might be more than one MIXER DEVICE. try the following on each one.

- ON "Show the following volume controls" SELECT everything
-Initiate a phone conversation .
- Start - Run - SNDREC32 - Start Recording,
- On the Recording Control start selecting each "select box" one by one
until you "see" audio on the Sound Recorder
you will "see" audio when you click microphone, but ignore that, look
at the other channels.

On MOST devices you can only record from ONLY ONE channel at a time.
