I have a user in our firm who recently deleted a rule she no longer needed.
Well this rule seems to be hanging around her Outlook client and doesn't want
to go away. The rule was set to move email from a certain person to a client
folder in the users mailbox. Again, the rule was deleted but email from this
person continues to go to the client folder. I've checked the remaining
rules and none of them have the rules settings to do this for this
client/sender.
We've created a new rule that puts email from the specified sender back to
the inbox. We had to do this because this ghost rule won't go away.
Has anyone seen this before and know of a fix? I've asked the user to
uncheck all of her rules in hopes that maybe one of her existing rules is
curropt.
