Ghost Messages

I've completely clean out my inbox (selected all and moved messages to another folder, rebuilt the database and the Inbox folder still says I have 3 unread messages. I've selected all messages and marked them as read. Rebuilt it 3 times. Update the latest MS Office 2008 patch. The folder still shows up as bold (3). It was (1) for a while. Today it's (3). Appreciate any thoughts.

You still have database corruption. I suggest starting over in a new
Identity. You will have to manually move over your data.

How to manually move your data. (when import fails and/or you need to move
to a new Identity same version or revert to an older version)
