Ghost Project in Reporting DB 2007

Hello,

My Resource Usage view in Project Pro 07 shows in the 'Other projects as
commintments' row an assignment on a project which has been deleted months
ago. So I checked in the different SQL Server 2005 DB and found out that
this project was still in the Reporting DB.
How is it possible?
How to remove it from the Reporting DB?

I've come across this a number of times though I can't reproduce the issue.
It can be resolved by rebuilding the reporting database. To do this:-

Check in all enterprise objects (projects, resources, views etc)
Disable Cube Build and AD Sync
Backup all project databases and or farm
Restore custom fields from enterprise backup in PWA. If you don't have a
backup, simple perform an enterprise backup, check the queue to ensure it
completes, then do the restore.

The rebuild will take some time (hours), depending on the number of projects
and assignments. I'd recommend that users refrain from using the system
until the rebuild is complete (monitor Queue for progress).
