Ghosted Animation?

interesting problem: I have two separate slides, both with animated callouts
when they are triggered by text/objects. The animation effects on all of the
callouts are identical BUT, on one slide when I launch PP SHOW, the text in
each callout is superimposed on the slide. The callouts work normally when
triggered but the additional jumbled text just stays there, thus the
appearance of a "ghosted image". Has anyone ever experienced this?
