Hey, so I've a workbook with a few hundred entries that I want to
hyperlink to local files on a CD. For some reason, after I've opened
the .xls file and hyperlinked one cell's contents to a file on the CD,
if I try to hyperlink another cell, when I try to browse to a file
(anywhere, not just on the CD) they're all ghosted out, and I can't
select them. However, if I close Excel and open it up again, I can
hyperlink the next cell. And so on...So yeah. What's causing the
ghosting, how can I get rid of it?
That's the first issue, here's the second:
Given that I'm linking to a local file, when I click on the hyperlink,
it warns me about linking to it, "Some files may contain viruses," blah
blah blah. Anyway, I know on Windows machines you can alter the
registry to disable this warning. How to do so with Mac?
Thanks a bunch for your time!
