Gibberish on website

Mark Dyson

Having just uploaded our website again, complete with
some major modifications, but not substanially different
from the last version, it has uploaded as gibberish. The
body of the Home page appears in triplicate; everything
else is missing. The only previous problems I have had
have revolved around servers not supporting FP
extensions, but these were all resolved. I want to know
whether this is still likely to be a server problem, or
whether it is something I have done during programming
(the website works perfectly when previewed in a
browser). Any thoughts?

Have you installed the latest Service Pack for Office/FrontPage? Has your
Hosting Service? This sounds suspiciously like an issue that was addressed
in SP1.

It is likely to be a server problem. Since you have not provide us with
enough information, or a URL to look at the site, everything we suggest
would be pure speculation, such as if the host is running FP 2002 server
extensions, they do not have all the updates/patches applied.
