I am working on PowerPoint conversion to XML format. I would like to know
how can I determine the image format for an inserted image into a slide ?
Particular case : GIF Animated format.

Powerpoint doesn't expose this information via the OM.
You might be able to work it out via the Scripting environment or by exporting
the slide or presentation to HTML and parsing that.
