Gif Files-Roady You Out There?

I made the Macro on the How To site for Outlook 2003 to save pictures as gif
files instead of bmp files. Everything went well until I tried to run the
Macro. I made the button on the toolbar and when I press the button I get
two different errors at different times in trying to run the Macro. The two
error messages are:

Run-Time Error '429'
Active X Component Can't Create Object

Run-Time Error '91'
Object Variable or With Block Variable Not Set

Can you tell me what is wrong and how to fix? I want so badly to save gif
files in Outlook and I just can't seem to make this Macro work. Other people
have tried it on their computers and it works fine. I have turned on all of
my Active X options. Please help!

Do you have a virusscanner that integrates with Office applications? See if
disabling this solves it for you.

Yes, I have disabled the virus scan and the firewwall and it still doesn't
work. Any other suggestions?

Disabling the virusscanner is something else than disabling the Office
integration of it. Many virusscanners also do runtime protection and
prohibit some macro (VBA) code from running. See the documentation of your
virusscanner on how you can disable this.

Also check if it works on the same computer but when logged on as another
user.

I am using Norton System Works 2003. I can't find how to disable a
virusscanner. All I could do was stop the Norton Anti-Virus from running.
That didn't help my problem at all. Still getting the Active X can't create
object error. It works on my computer at work, but not my home computer.
There has to be some kind of setting somewhere. In the Registry probably.
Any other suggestions?

Sorry, I got behind in some school work and have been busy. In the COM
