GIF Files

I want to create a GIF file from a text box or selected area, within a
Microsoft Word File. Any suggestions? I can do it by copying the file to a
Microsoft Publisher File, then from there, select the section, right mouse
click, and save as a gif-picture. I'd like to do that directly from a Word
file.

Hi Kathy -

Ain't gonna happen, I'm afraid. PC Word does not provide that capability.

Hi Kathy,

If you copy the text box then use Edit=>Paste Special and choose GIF as the file format does that work? If so you can extract the
GIF using File=>Web Page Preview or File=>Save as Web Page.
