Gimme those old time....menus! (2003 < 2007)

I'm a bit lost. I've upgraded to Office 2007 but I really miss the old menus
in 2003. There appears to be a steep learning curve to the menu system in
2007. Is it possible to display those "old" 2003 (XP) Office menus in 2007?

I haven't tried it yet myself because I'm still reluctant to move "on".
However it has got high marks in this and other newsgroups.

No..

The ribbon cannot be disabled.

Actually alot of people find the ribbon much easier having all the options
on the main screen.

I agree with you! I HATE (yes, screaming at MS) these new menus. They take
up too much room and group things according to rules in some secret
"MS-Club". This might be a great option, but MS should offer a "Classic"
view like they have done in the control panel, etc.
