give security for mpp files creating using project professional 2

I have created a project using project professional 2003.and i saved it in
project server. When other users connecting to the project professional
should not update my project plan,allow them to view only.

Hi Ancil,

You should only give your team access to the Project Web Access ( which is
part of Project Server). This is the only way that you can ensure that your
team does not update the project. As soon as you give your team access to the
project via Project Professional, the team members will always be able to
change inforamtion.

I would not allow the team members access to your project using project
professional (the securit from Project Server handles this access). and I
would only give them access via Project Web Access.
