global address book in outlook 2007 & outlook 2000

[problem man]

I configure and use ldap address book in outlook 2007. The ldap server
actually is Windows Server 2003 Active Directory. Find that when browse this
global address book, it shows nothing and I've to find out the person by
using search. Same problem happens in outlook 2000. It causes me very
inconveneicne. I want all entries to be displayed when browsing the global
address book. Any solutions?

If you have the option enabled to allow directory browsing, the AD is
browsable in the LDAP directory if the server supports it.

Are you using a username/pw to access ldap?
Are you using a custom search base?

Tools-> Account Settings-> tab Address Books-> open the LDAP account-> More
Settings...-> tab Search-> option: Enable Browsing (requires server
support).

This option does not exist in Outlook 2000.

For both questions, they're "yes". Then, this behavior is normal for outlook
2000, right?
