Russ and Ernie
I had the same question as Ernie and am surprised we have to access
another
site to figure out how to do this. We use Outlook at work and I have the
ability, when in Contacts, to "Share Contacts". I can actually select
this,
and then it asks for the address of the person to share with. I do the
same
with the Calendar option. The only Options under Contacts in my home
system
is "Open Shared Contacts" which only leads me to my own address book, or
"Customize Contacts" which isn't what I want. I've tried Tools Options,
etc.
Is there really no other way to do this besides your suggestion?
appreciate it

You'll have to decide how much sharing you want to achieve. You can
easily
set each profile to use the same data file, but then you'll be sharing
all
your other Outlook data, too. You can also easily copy the Contacts from
one
profile to the other by simply opening the other profile's data file and
copying the Contacts, but the lists will not remain in sync.
On this site is an article on various ways to share Outlook data:

You will also find a list of third-party sharing tools:

Russ - You are correct, I have set up two separate profiles, one for me
and
one for my wife. I am able to switch between profiles with no problem.
My
problem is sharing the same contact forlder (list) between us. How do
I
share the contact folder?
:
I assume you do not mean a Global Address Book, since that is a
feature
only
when you run against Exchange Server. Outlook does not use an address
book.
It uses Contacts Folders.
Clarify what you want to do and what you mean by "accounts." Are you
using
separate Outlook profiles? Separate Windows logons?

I am new to Outlook 2007. I had no problem setting up individual
mail
accounts for my wife and myself. However, I am having a problem
setting
up
the address book so that we both can share the same address book.
Any
help
will be appreciated.
