Removed a user from our domain and added a new one creating a new Exchange
account for the new user and deleting the mailbox for the old one. We run
Exchange 2003. On Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003 in an "Online"
configuration, I see the GAL fine with the old member deleted and the new
member added. If I switch Outlook 2003 to cached Exchange mode, I revert
back to an old GAL list with the old member still there and my new employee
not showing up. I've tried forcing the GAL to update through Send/Receive,
Choosing Download Address Book - Full. It looks as though the sync works,
and I don't get any error messages in the Sync Issues folder but the GAL
doesn't update.
Any thoughts? I wanted to keep Outlook in cached Exchange mode as it's the
only way I can use the Junk Email folder, but I can't have my clients with an
out of date GAL.
