Global +(cached Enterprise) and Checked out Enterprise

In my ongoing quest to clean out our installation of Project Server, I have
been removing unwanted items from the Checked out Enterprise Global using the
Organizer. (Thanks to Dale Howard for some good advice).

Should I be applying the same clean-up approach to the Global +(cached
Enterprise) side of the Organizer?

Thanks in advance,
Charles

No, you do not need to clean up the Global.mpt. If you really wanted to do
this, please know every user of Microsoft Project would have to perform the
cleanup, as the Global.mpt file is stored on each user's PC.

When you clean up the Enterprise Global, make sure you delete all
non-enterprise Views and Tables. When you select the Tables tab in the
Organizer dialog, remember to select both the "Tasks" option and the
"Resources" option at the top of the dialog. Hope this helps.

That's a relief. On the face of it, you wouldn't expect the global.mpt to
cause problems for the enterprise, but lately I've been learning to take
nothing for granted.

Thanks for the assistance, as always!
