Global change "Display as field"

Dear Folks,

I'm interesting in changing the "display as" email field
for a number of contacts.

Currently some of them are displayed as first name, last
name for the email field.

I've discovered that when I synch with my Handspring PDA,
only the name is transferred rather than the email
address.

I'd like to do a "global" change rather than going
through individual contacts.

Using Outlook 2000

You can only change them individually, and only in certain versions of
Outlook.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this page refers to methods required
to sort the Outlook Address Book by the File As field before that option
became incorporated into the Outlook Address Book Service 5 years ago. I
don't believe it has anything to do with the Display Name field.
