How do I globally change the font color in a document? Not just using themes, because that changes all, and I just want to change the body text not the headings, etc.

If you've used the placeholders in your PowerPoint slides instead of drawing
text boxes and putting your text in there, you're in luck - you can use the
master slide template to get back on track.

Go to the View - Master - Slide Master menu, and you'll see the master slide
format used for your content slides. Change the formatting of the text in
the placeholder on the bottom, below the heading. Now select View - Normal
from the menu. Now the text in the content placeholders of all of your
slides should match the global text style in the master.

There is a catch, however. If you've expressly selected a different
formatting for the text in a certain slide, it won't be affected by what
you've done with the slide master. PowerPoint leaves it alone and assumes
you really do want your custom formatting. To change it back to the global
text style anyway, make sure that your Slide Sorter pane is visible on the
left-hand side and that you are in Normal view. Do a right-click on the
slide whose style you want to revert to the global style. The "Title and
Content" bar with several sample slide layouts should appear above your
slide. Select the style you want to revert to, and voila! - the slide's text
and graphic styles revert to the global (master) slide's style.

The other option is to use the Format Painter tool, to "pick up" the style
you want and apply it to multiple objects, such as text. It's in your
Standard toolbar. Select the object you want to use as your template style,
double-click on the format painter icon, and then click on each target
object to apply the style. It even works across multiple slides - you can
press the Page Up or Page Down keys to change slides in midstream.

Hope this works for you...
