Global force "Update All" on behalf of all resources?

Hello everybody,
First of all thanks for this group and all contributions, this adds
tremendour value to each MSPS2003 admin.

I have one problem - our resource pool counts app. 450 resources. We
have to report their submitted hours 3 business days after the month
end. The trouble is that most of the resources actually fill in their
timesheets, however they forget to hit the "Update All" button to send
them to PMs for approval and the hours are missing.

I was wondering - is there a way at the server setup level to force the
"Update All" process either manually or automatically at certain time
of the month?

Thanks a lot for your answers,
Risiak...

There is no default way to do this within Project Server. Therefore, you
need to make this a training and performance issue with your team members.
Train them how to enter and submit their actual work in a timely manner, and
then deal appropriately with those who don't follow the system. I think you
are seeing that the "people" issues with Project Server can be a lot more
complex than the software itself! :) Hope this helps.

Thank you Dale, I was afraid of this :) There is manual workaround for
my project managers to do this through the "Adjust actuals" feature,
however this has to be done for each resource separately.

Hmm I am thinking about writing SQL script which would change the
"non-submitted" flag on the DB level to "submitted" - however to be
honest, I am scared, very scared to use this approach :)

I will probably draft corporate-wide training draft on this issue and
set more reminders, that should do it.

Thanks for your contributions and keep up good work!!!
