I'm hoping someone can steer me on the right path on this one ...
We've a bunch of standard report documents that we use in work that I want to try to standardize. At the moment they are just .docs - not using templates or anything. People just pick up a copy of the 'master' document as they need it. Obviously this isn't ideal. Anything needs updating , it requires updating all the documents.
I was hoping that there might be a way to have a global layout that these documents inherit instead. Like for margin settings, header & footer content, livery graphics, font settings etc. They all have pretty much the same layout as it stands - it's just the content that varies.
I'd appreciate any input on this in case I end up taking it in the wrong direction.
Thanks
David
