Global.mpt error

Moved from OS2000 to XP, now I can't open an MSProject
file (MSP2002). Telling me that project can not open
Global.mpt file. I tried doing a repair on MSP but no
help. Could this be an OS issue? What to do???

This is strange. However, try renaming the global.mpt file (call it
global.old or something)
Project will recreate the global file.
Maybe that will help.

Did that. Didn't work. Tried deleting the file, didn't
work. Uninstalled MSP2002 and reinstalled, didn't work.
Any other ideas??
