A friend is running Windows 2000, and has Windows Office
XP on his system. He tried to install MS Project 2003. Now
his Global.MPT file cannot be found. I tried to repair,
but did not work. I tried installing Office 2000 Small
Business, but nothing. Now he cannot open any of his files
int he Word or Excel. Has any one run across this problem?

Hi J.,

The Global.MPT file is one created and maintained
by MS Project. It's not clear which action you're
taking in Office that would preclude using Word and
Excel for the Project file.

You may want to also post this in the MS Project newsgroup
