Global.MPT Usage

I've an application developed in Project 98 which uses custom tables, views,
filters, modules (subs, functions) that parses a filename and determines
which views to apply. This application works great all the way through 2003
but my customer has recently moved to 2007. I'm unable to save new subs to
the global.mpt even through I removed the ReadOnly attribute and also get a
critical failure when trying to apply two of the 12 views. Will 2007 allow
the user to save to a global.mpt created from a previous version and is there
any way to resolve corrupted views?

I assume that the Global.mpt file is in 2007 format and that you have SP2
installed. SP2 is essential as without it you have any one of dozens of bugs
to contend with.

Hi,

In the old version, through Organizer, move all objects into a .mpp file
Now open a blank Global.mpt (delete all global.mpt's in your achine then
open Project 2007)
Open teh file woith the objects and copy them ino your 2007 global.
