Global removal of hyperlinks

I'm using Word 2003. Is there a way to remove hyperlinks from a Word document
globally? I can only do it with Ctrl K hyperlink by hyperlink, but would like
to remove all hyperlinks in a document at one time

After you Select All (Ctrl-A), Ctrl-Shift-F9 will sever all the
hyperlinks from cross references. (I don't know whether it does it to
external ones as well.)

What happens if you Select All and then Ctrl-K?

Wow! Thanks. That works.

Nothing happens with you Select all then hit Ctrl-K. You don't get a pop-up
or anything.
