Global Template Loads; Macros Don't Work

I just had my system overhauled with WinXP re-installed and MS Office
XP/2002 reinstalled...or re-imaged, I should say. So all of my previous
settings are gone. I have two global templates that load on startup of MS
Word. Since the re-image, one of the templates loads fine and all the macros
within work as they should. The other template, however, loads fine but
nothing works. The toolbars display, but none of the macros on the toolbars
work. The custom menus display, but nothing in the menu works. Every single
item gives me the dialog box that reads "The macro cannot be found or has
been disabled because of your Macro security settings." I set my macro
security settings to Low out of habit, and when I open the Visual Basic
project viewer (Alt-F11), all of the macros are there. When I run the macro
from the viewer, the macro works just fine. When I copy the macro from the
global template to my Normal template, the macro works just fine. In fact
that's my stop-gap measure until I can resolve this. I kinda wish they
hadn't re-imaged my system right about now!

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction and give me some
hints as to what I can look for to fix this problem.

Thanks,
Beck

Toolbar links are fussy. If you port toolbars and macros from one template
to another, it is important that the macros be moved first and stay in the
same modules. Then port the toolbar.

I suspect that in your original setup the macros may have actually been
duplicated in normal.dot. See http://addbalance.com/word/movetotemplate.htm
for step-by-step instructions on moving / sharing / copying / backing-up
customizations including AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments,
toolbars, macros, etc.
