I am looking for good technical definitions of "shape handles," "shape
vertices" and "connection points," in regards to "glue to," settings, for
training purposes. Obviously handles are the green boxes at the perimiter of
a selected shape, enabling resizing, and connection points are the blue X's
to which a connector can be glued. Beyond that, I am looking for a resource
that will enable me to explain the following in a Visio training session:
- What is the definition of "Shape Vertices" in Visio?
- Are the four corners of a default square actually handles, connection
points and vertices at the same time?
- Why does a square have handles at all four corners, but a rectangle does
not?
- Why are all four corners of a square and rectangle "vertices" (as
evidenced when "glue to shape vertices" is the only glue attribute active),
but only the left and right handles of a circle are?
This does not appear to be in Help in Visio.
I'd be grateful to learn of any resourse. Thanks!
