Ok guys, I'm going to start a fresh thread on this.
I got my GMAIL account.
I want to test 1 current email account I own ( (e-mail address removed)),
and see if I can use this email account in Entourage using Gmails server, providing that the recipient see that the email is coming from (e-mail address removed), not (e-mail address removed).
Unfortunatly, I cannot find in Gmail where to begin with this as the interface if bit convoluted.
Also, there is some debate here as to whether I can do this in G mail alone, or should I pony up to Gmal apps (how much is that).

You might find answers on the Gmail discussion groups that will better help
you. We can help you get your account setup here, but for discussion of
Gmail, you should take this to their lists.

I can't catch a break Diane, I put my real name in the username for Gmail, and Now it's their forums of course which of course mandate you user name been seen by the world...

Ah, maybe I'm wrong. I think it gives you a change to invent your username for the posts.
