Gmail & IMAP

Hello everyone! I recently configured Windows Mail to use Gmail's IMAP
feature. I like very much, but I have a question. When I send an email, a
copy of the email that I sent is stored in the Sent Items in my local
folders and on the Gmail server. Is there a way to prevent my sent emails
from being stored on the local folders?

Thank you.

You should ask in a Windows Mail group. This is for Outlook.

Have you tried looking in Windows Fail's options to see if there's some
place to untick "save sent messages to Sent Items" or something similar?
If not, I would recommend switching to Thunderbird that, indeed, has
that feature. It's free and can be downloaded from
http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird. In T-Bird, you would go to
Tools/Account settings/Copies and folders and untick "Place a copy ... "
