Go from other to a blank text box

A

accessnewbie

I have a drop down list that has 'other' has an option. I would like to open
a blank text box where a user could type in their response after they have
chosen other.

But if other is not chosen - I don't want the text box to open.

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes - Conditional Formatting is the way to accomplish what you need. You
will simply need to create a "condition" where by when the drop-down list
"does not equal Other" then "hide this control" (where "this control" is
your text box.)

I hope this helps!
