Go-To an empty text box?

Hello,

Is there a way to Go-To a text box in a document?

We have a large document that has an empty text box somewhere in it. Its
format settings are No Line and Behind Text. I once found a text box like
this by checking Text Boundaries in Tools-Options-View, but this document is
really huge and I can't scroll through it all trying to find a small text box
somewhere.

Thank you very much,

Eless

One suggestion: Click the edge of a text box then keep pressing Tab until
you rout out the ghost.

Alternatively, to possibly avoid tabbing through *all* text boxes - but
specifics will vary depending on version of Word, which you don't mention:

Prior to Word 2007 - In Tools> Customize> Drawing you'll find a command by
the name of SelectMultipleObjects. Start by adding that to a Toolbar, then
close the dialog. [In 2007 the same feature is available, but in Word
Options & I can't remember the details from there.]

In the document, click the newly added button, check the boxes for any Text
Box items you suspect & OK out. As above, press Tab repeatedly until you get
to the culprit & delete it. Just keep in mind that once you delete a text
box you'll no longer be able to Tab on unless you go back into the dialog &
re-select.

Thank you -- Word 2003. I used the SelectMultipleObjects button and it
worked like a charm!
