GOING INTO SAVE MODE

This is the most frustrating program ever...
Randomly when entering date in any (no particular) vell...the program
goes into a save mode by itself....so you must force quite and re-enter
the data...I have consulted with Microsoft about this...we then deleted
the PDF makers in all three (Excel, PP and Word folders), all prefs,
etc..it then works for a while.
We have re-installed Excel several times then the updates and we still
have this problem.
However, it only occurs on my G-4 not on any of the G5s. Perhaps it's a
font conflict??????HELP!

I've not encountered this problem before. Have you tried any troubleshooting
