I am trying to upload a small subwebsite to my current site and when I do it
says that the web does not exist there... so it asks me to create a new
subsite there

I do

but it comes back

THERE IS NO "/" site there... Why is it doing that?

I am typing something in!!!!!!!

Some hosts do not allow the creation of subwebs. And some require that they
create it on the server before you publish. You need to contact your host
about their policy.

You can also check by opening the online site in FP and creating a folder, then selecting Convert to web to see if you get any
errors
If you don't get any errors they may allow subwebs but require you to always Publish from the root, so publish your root web
including subwebs

| THANK YOU FOR THAT-- I WILL LOOK INTO THAT!!!
|
| thanks!
