Gold Stars - HelP!!!!!

I was working on a document and when I viewed it in print
layout there were three gold stars on teh top of each
page. I have tried everything but I can not get rid of
them. They are not objects that can be selected or
clicked on. Any suggestions?

They could be graphics in the header.

Select View -> Header and Footer and see if you can click
on them and delete them from there.

You might also try displaying the Drawing toolbar and
selecting the 'white arrow' tool (2nd from the left, also
called the 'Select Objects' tool. See if you can select
the stars with that.

If not, perhaps describing briefly what "I've tried
everything" entails so as to eliminate more guessing.

Did you check the Header/Footer?
