Good formulas stop working

B

Baffled

One of our users is having a problem with formulas in
Excel. He will open previously created files from all
different authors and the formulas that worked previously
will not calculate. The formulas are good and should
work, but when you input or change a piece of the
numerical data that the formula is based on, the
resultant does not change from it's previous result.
There isn't anything wrong with the formulas, it's just
like it's possessed. If you reboot, it will work for a
while, but then start up again with the same problem.
HELP!!!!

Just guessing, but check to ensure that automatic calculation is turned on,
no VBA stuff is interfering, and that the appropriate add-ins are loaded.
Sometimes formulas require a specific add-in to work.

Hope that helps.

Kevin
