Google Adsense question for my webpage

S

Susutea

Hi, I applied for google adsense and now I have a google
search button on my page. My options were to either
put a google search button on my page, or put a
google Ad on my page and also one other different option
that I forgot. Did I make the correct decision and just
put a google search box on my page. Thanks, ri

Only you can determine whether you made the right decision, based upon your
needs.
Personally, I would never use any of them.

Susutea,
you didn't make a "right" or "wrong" decision because you can have both.
You can have a Google search box (I believe 2 on a web page), Google content
ads (3 on a page) as well as a few other types of ads that they offer.
Log into your Google account and read their "Terms and Conditions" and
"Program Policies".

Although Google is pretty restrictive, if you have their ads on a page, they
don't allow any other type of competiting ads on that same page.

There are a ton of web sites that use the Google ads. I have them on my
site. www.webbuilderscafe.com
If you are going to make any money with them, you need to have lots of
traffic.

Check out my web pages on "building links", "search engines", "tags" and
"keywords" inorder to increase traffic to your site.
