Google Earth kills Office Shortcut Bar...

Been familiarising myself with Google Earth, and notice that whenever I open
GE it kills my Office Shortcut Bar.

Once it has failed to pop up (I have it set to pop up with the cursor), it
cannot be restarted, and does not seem to be noted as still running (ie just
failing to pop up) in Task Manager.

It all comes back with logging off and restarting, but, of course is gone
again if I open GE.

Any ideas?

That's interesting! My shortcut bar does *not* disappear when I
run Google Earth as is apparent since I have it set as "always
on top". I thought the "always on top" setting might be a cause
but I have tried unchecking it without problems.

Thanks for the hint James,

I have now discovered that it seems to be a mismatch with the
TaskbarActivate add-on I was using. I have been using this for some time as
a 'fix' for problems I had with the main Task Bar freezing, but the
programme also offers control over the other task bar positions. I have the
Office Bar at the top of the screen, and when I tell TaskbarActivate not to
control this position, the Office Bar works properly with GE.

Perhaps I should pass this info over to Kelly's Corner, where I got the fix
from in the first place.
