Google Source Code

I am trying to install Google Adsense code into my publisher website. When I
open the publisher file on my desktop, it opens in an html format. I click
on view - source, which opens the entire source code for the website in
notepad. I insert the code just above the <body> tag, and save it. I then
try to go into the editing mode to publish it to the web, and it doesn't
allow me to. How do I insert this code into my website? Please help!

Please note that you need to post web publication questions in our web design
forum. You posted this in the VBA development forum, which has no relevance.

I strongly advise against editing of the html file.
The correct way to add your own html code snippet is by using the HTML Code
Fragment. You'll find it under the Insert menu.

This is likely covered in that FAQ -

referance for future referal.
